Anneliese just celebrated her first Christmas! She got her ears pierced with Auntie Shelley and Mommy on the 23rd! Anneliese is smiling lots and talking too- well saying "hi." She is weighing in at 12.5 lbs- a size 2 diaper. We can't wait to ring in the New Year!

Anneliese is growing so fast!! She is almost ready to get her ears pierced. Daddy is not too thrilled. She is getting into a routine with eating, playing, and sleeping. 5 hours some nights! Anneliese's tummy is feeling much better. She is starting to smile more socially and follow things with her eyes. More updates to come!

Anneliese Marie's Debut!!

She's here!

Yesterday evening our beautiful baby daughter came into our lives at 7:50pm. Anneliese Marie came in weighin in at 8 pounds 7 ounces. The delivery was falwless.

This is the after...

We got to the hospital at 4:30 and three hours later the baby was out. Cassie pushed for 31 minutes and had Anneliese delivered just in time to see Tampa loose game 1 (gotta take the good with the bad.)

Today was a great first day even though we were a bit tired. For some reason the predominant topic of conversation when talking to other parents was the lack of sleep and now I know why. The baby did her best to give mom a break last night and this morning was in an awesome mood. She was personable, real reactive to stimulus, eating well, and pooping tons!

We should be going home tomorrow morning. Thank you for all the support, visits, and wishes.

Ready for action...

We are waiting to be drafted into parenthood. The pregnancy is now at full term. Cassie is looking beautiful and full size. Two weeks ago our girl weighed at 7 pounds one ounce so she must be bigger now. We are on pace for a natural delivery through Wednesday - if she's not here by then we will shedule a modern designer delivery for the week after. Everything is ready, we are all excited, just waiting to play!

First Post!!!

Cassie and I went to the doctor's yesterday. Baby Hernandez is already 7 pounds 1 ounce!!! Our bags are packed, insurance is updated, and the DVD's are stacked up ready for the delivery room j/k...

We can't wait to see our baby and are praying for a healthy little girl.
